Pioneer’s new Tour1 DJ setup wows

Pioneer DJ has unveiled its new TOUR system, the CDJ-TOUR1 and DJM-TOUR1 — these festival-ready DJ setups feature arena-grade sound components, ensuring awesome sound wherever you are.

The CDJ-TOUR1 and DJM-TOUR1 were previously concept setups shown at the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) trade show.

Both the CDJ-TOUR1 multiplayer and DJM-TOUR1 mixer have an ESS Technology 32-bit D/A converter, which helps eliminate low noise and distortion. This results in clearer and crisper sound that you can scale. The DJM-TOUR1 is actually the first mixer to have a pro audio-grade AES/EBU digital output. This technology allows you to connect directly to the front of house, or over long- distances, and never have to worry about any loss in sound quality.

Both Pioneer DJ equipment feature a 13-inch, full-color touch screen that is used for track selection. It also comes with a multi-wave display. DJs can effortlessly do some back-to-back DJing thanks to the DJM-TOUR1’s two independent headphone outputs, allowing two people to monitor and cue tracks separately.

The TOUR1 set-up is as sturdy as the name suggests, with reinforced sides, lockable NEUTRIK etherCON LAN ports and gold-plated RCAs.
